J’espère que vous allez bien! Pour ma part ça va plutot bien, je profites de mes vacances en claquant tous mes sous en manga….. vivement le retour au boulot! Je vous retrouve aujourd’hui avec la chronique de Resurrection Reprise , le dernier roman d’Hailey Turner issu de l’univers de sa série Soulbound (Dette de Sang en vf publié chez Bookmark). Je remercie l’auteure ainsi que Valentine PR pour cet ARC.

Je vous l’ai déjà dit une demi douzaine de fois mais j’adore cette série. J’avais donc super hâte de découvrir ce qu’Hailey Turner avait en tête pour l’histoire de Spencer.
On découvre Spencer dans le tome 5 de la série et c’est un personnage que j’avais beaucoup aimé.
Je dois avoué que j’avais un peu oublié le personnage de Takoma qu’on ne rencontre que dans le dernier tome. Mais Hailey Turner nous remet suffisant d’éléments si bien que j’ai vite retrouvé mes marques.
J’ai énormément aimé l’histoire de Spencer. C’est un personnage qui est très touchant et auquel je me suis énormément attachée. Son histoire est loin d’être facile et il va être confronté à tout un tas de méchants dans une enquête maitrisée et passionnante.
La plume d’Hailey Turner est toujours aussi excellente. Elle nous propose encore une fois des personnages forts et complexes. Là aussi, ils sont tout en nuance de gris et on découvre une fois encore que rien n’est tout blanc ou tout noir.
J’ai énormément aimé la façon dont Hailey Turner nous propose quelque chose de nouveau tout en reliant ce roman à sa série d’originie. D’ailleurs, la participation d’un autre personnage de l’arc principal m’a vraiment vraiment plus.
En résumé un excellent roman dans un univers tout aussi génial à découvrir sans plus tarder.

I’ve already told you half a dozen times but I love this series. So I was super excited to find out what Hailey Turner had in mind for Spencer’s story.
We discover Spencer in book 5 and it’s a character that I really liked.
I must admit that I had somewhat forgotten about Takoma who we only meet in the last book . But Hailey Turner gives us enough elements so that I quickly found my bearings.
I really enjoyed Spencer’s story. He is a character who is very touching and to whom I became extremely attached. His story is far from easy and he will be confronted with a whole bunch of bad guys in a mastered and exciting investigation.
Hailey Turner’s writing is still excellent. She once again offers us strong and complex characters. There too, they are all shades of gray and we discover once again that nothing is all white or all black.
I really liked the way Hailey Turner offers us something new while connecting this novel to her original series. Besides, the participation of another character from the main arc makes me so happy!!
In summary, an excellent novel in an equally brilliant universe to discover without further delay.
