J’espère que vous allez bien. Ma semaine de vacances se termine mais elle m’aura fait un bien fou! Prête à retourner en téléravail. Je vous retrouve aujourd’hui avec le perilleux exercice de la chronique d’un tome 4. Où comment ne pas spoiler et ne pas redire ce qui a été dit déjà 3 fois…. il s’agit de A Vigil in the Mourning,le tome 4 de la série Soulbound de Hailey Turner. Résumé :

FR- Alors alors… alors… 4eme tome hein… faut pas spoiler tout ça tout ça…. bref.. une fois de plus j’ai adoré. Je ne sais pas comment le dire autrement tellement cette série est THE série d’Urban Fantasy à lire. En plus, MxM Bookmark a déjà 3 tomes de traduits en français donc vous n’avez aucune excuse pour ne pas la lire.
Cette fois ci c’est le folklore nordique qui est à l’honneur avec Odin, Thor et d’autres personnages plus connus (pour ma part en tout cas) que dans le tome précédent. Une fois de plus, j’aime que l’auteure joue avec les différentes religions anciennes dans chaque tomes et nous fasse découvrir un nouveau panthéon. Le petit lexique à la fin est vachement pratique pour s’y retrouver parce qu’au bout de quatre tomes, ça commence à en faire, du monde.
J’ai adoré retrouver les personnages principaux, mention spéciale à mon petit Wade chéri qu’on voit un peu plus dans ce tome. La relation entre Patrick et mon Jono d’amour est encore plus développée et ils sont tellement mignons tous les deux… pfffff je les aimes d’amour^^.
L’auteure ne leur épargne rien du tout et l’intrigue principale prend encore plus de profondeur. D’ailleurs, à ce sujet un grand bravo à Hailey Turner parce qu’on se retrouve avec deux intrigues principales plus à chaque fois l’intrigue mineure du tome etq qu’elle réussit à tout nous faire suivre sans jamais nous perdre. Bravo!
En résumé, un quatrième tome à la hauteur des précédents, une auteure dont la plume est toujours aussi magique. Des personnages que j’aime d’amour. Bref, un sans faute pour cette série qui n’en fini pas de nous séduire.
ENG- So well well well.. well 4th volume eh … I should not spoil…and all …. in short … once again I loved it. I do not know how to say it otherwise so this series is THE Urban Fantasy ‘s series to read. In addition, MxM Bookmark already has 3 volumes translated into French so you have no excuse for not reading it.
This time it is the Nordic folklore which is in the spotlight with Odin, Thor and other characters more known (for my part in any case) than in the previous volume. Once again, I like that the author plays with the different ancient religions in each volume and makes us discover a new pantheon. The little lexicon at the end is really handy to find your way around because after four volumes, it starts to make a loooooooooot of people.
I loved finding the main characters, special mention to my little darling Wade that we see a little more in this volume. The relationship between Patrick and my love, Jono, is even more developed and they are both so cute … pfffff I love them ^^.
The author spares them nothing at all and the main plot takes on even more depth. By the way, on this subject a big congratulations to Hailey Turner because we are left with two main intrigues plus each time the minor intrigue of the volume and that she succeeds in making us all follow without ever losing us. Well done!
In summary, a fourth volume at the height of the previous ones, an author whose pen is still as magical. Characters I love. In short, a faultless for this series which never ceases to seduce us.
