FR- Alors alors….alors..c’est toujours difficile de faire la chronique du sixième tome d’une série sans spoiler mais on va essayer de faire au mieux.
J’adore cette série. Je vous l’ai déjà dit un nombre incalculable de fois mais j’aime énormément cette série. Et plus on avance dans les tomes, plus j’aime ce que l’auteure nous propose. Si j’avais énormément aimé le tome 5 du fait qu’il se passait à Paris, je dois dire que ce tome est encore un cran au dessus.
Une fois de plus l’auteure mêle mythologie, magie et shifters et s’en sort avec brio. J’aime énormément l’aspect mythologie qui change des autres romans d’Urban Fantasy et qui apporte énormément à l’histoire et à la série. Plus les tomes avancent et plus les mythologies se rajoutent, c’est d’ailleurs intéressant de voir les différents dieux de la même chose s’affronter.
J’ai trouvé que ce tome mettait plus en avant Jono et j’ai trouvé cet aspect vraiment intéressant. Patrick est toujours là, et les ennuis le suivent toujours à la trace mais ce roman fait la part belle à la meute et à la guerre qui l’oppose à la meute d’Estelle et Youssef.
Encore une fois, il se passe énormément de chose dans ce tome, des secrets sont révélés, des problèmes sont réglés mais bien entendu, de nouveaux font surface. Nos héros sont loin d’en avoir fini et cela laisse présager un 7eme et dernier tome plus que passionnant.
Cependant, je suis super inquiète de ce que l’auteure nous réserve pour ce dernier tome parce que ça semble vraiment mal engagé pour Patrick . Je sens que ce roman va encore faire parti de ceux dont je me spoile la fin.
Donc ce tome est tout simplement excellent. Les éléments se mettent en place pour l’apothéose finale, le rythme s’accélère mais l’auteure maîtrise sa ligne narrative et son univers ce qui évite l’effet fouillis qu’on peut parfois ressentir quand on approche de la résolution.
En résumé une très très bonne série, un tome encore au dessus des précédents. A lire sans plus tarder.

I love this series. I’ve told you countless times before, but I really love this series. And the more we advance in the volumes, the more I like what the author offers us. If I had really liked volume 5 because it took place in Paris, I must say that this volume is still a cut above.
Once again the author mixes mythology, magic and shifters and comes out with flying colors. I really like the mythology aspect which changes from the other Urban Fantasy novels and which adds a lot to the story and the series. The more the volumes advance and the more mythologies are added, it is also interesting to see the different gods of the same thing clash.
I found that this volume put more emphasis on Jono and I found this aspect really interesting. Patrick is still there, and troubles always follow him, but this novel gives pride of place to the pack and to the war that opposes him to the pack of Estelle and Youssef.
Once again, there is so much going on in this tome, secrets are revealed, problems are solved but of course, new ones are surfacing. Our heroes are far from having finished and that suggests a 7th and last volume more than fascinating.
However, I’m super worried about what the author has in store for this last volume because it seems really badly off for Patrick. I feel that this novel is going to be one of those whose end I spare myself.
So this volume is simply excellent. The elements are put in place for the final apotheosis, the rhythm accelerates but the author masters her narrative line and her universe which avoids the clutter effect that can sometimes be felt when approaching the resolution.
In summary a very very good series, a volume still above the previous ones. A must read.
